This Howards Cams CL110265-12 Retro-Fit Hydraulic Roller Camshaft & Lifter Kit fits the 262-400 Small Block Chevy from 1955-1998. Howards designed this cam and lifter kit for hot street as well as bracket racing, and it has a lopey idle. A 10.0:1 or higher compression ratio in addition to a 2800 stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
